home

We've just wrapped up our second week with our house and we're loving life. We're half finished painting the walls and ceiling. For our next project, we'll attempt to install timber flooring ourselves. (Fingers crossed.) Then we'll toss in some furniture, get settled, and start digging around in the garden.

streamlining, take II

After two years of caravan life, we're finally preparing for life in our first home. We've just sold the caravan and so once again, we're packing up all of our things and trying to get rid of as much as possible for our move to Denmark. Here are a couple photos of the caravan looking almost as empty as the day we bought it.

We'll miss our little home.

milestones

Just when you stop believing in the impossible, the impossible happens all at once. Two things, two very unlikely things, have just occurred: We're now officially permanent residents of Australia and Mike has joined Facebook, reuniting with old friends back home. To remind me of where I came from, Mom sent the embarrassing photo below. I'm easy to spot & that's Dorothy on my lap. The others are my cousins.
